We all have seen displays . They are part of many electronics like Mobile phones , TV, Car and many more gadgets . Display are an incredible technology that enables us in viewing images, videos , animation, interactives etc. Ever wonder ? How this technology might work? how are we able to produce an image on screen?
Display , when subdivided into basic parts consist of a basic element called PIXEL
or abbreviated as Picture-Element . If your display resolution is say 1080x720 , then , there are that many number of pixels in your display . these pixels when combined in the form of a matrix forms a display
Each pixel has 3 colors Red , Green , Blue . These colors when combined in proper amounts give rise to different colors . For example say we want yellow color then we must combine green and red color . Similarly for purple we combine red and blue .
Each color in the pixel has a value from 0-255 , red has 0-255 , blue has 0-255 , and green has 0-255 . 0 being dark and 255 being bright red or bright blue or green . If all values are 255 then we perceive white color if all values are 0 then we perceive black color . we can supply different values to RGB and produce millions of colours
we have many kinds of display in which the display quality , colour reproduction , contrast ratio , brightness and other factors are improved to a greater extent . Different displays are

3. OLED
4. AMOLED
